HostMySite.com Appoints Vice President of Software Development.
2008-03-13, HostMan.biz Web host HostMySite.com has appointed a Vice President of Software Development, it was reported yesterday. Former Monster.com Executive Mr. Don MacIntyre has been given the role. Mr. MacIntyre was previously founder and CEO of AgileBootCamp.com, whose activity included moving Fidelity Investments’ software teams toward Agile methodologies. He also previously served as Director of Engineering for Monster.com, and was in charge of the development of its “Employer” products. Mr. MacIntyre also held senior software management positions within Hewlett Packard (HP) - including leading the team that developed the HP OpenView Transaction Analyzer. ''We are thrilled to expand our executive leadership in the software development vertical here at HostMySite.com,” explained Lou Honick, Chief Executive Officer of HostMySite.com. “Don's considerable development experience within some of the world's most respected brands - Monster.com and Hewlett Packard - will be an enormous asset to our growing team. I look forward to the benefits that Don's work will deliver for our customers.'' Mr. MacIntyre’s inclusion in HostMySite.com’s executive layer is a continuation of the company’s policy of “talent expansion” introduced last year. Web hosting industry veteran, Derek Vaughan, joined HostMySite.com as Vice President of Marketing recently. The company is looking to fill the position of Director of Product Development over the next couple of months. |
