IOMART Wins First Major Data Center Contract.
2008-02-28, HostMan.biz iomart, the datacentre operating and web hosting business,announced that it has signed a 5 year contract with the UK’s leading telecom operator to provide managed data centre facilities. The contract is worth a minimum of ?6.75m spread equally over the 5 year period and excludes the cost of power. Further revenues may be generated from the provision of additional managed services. "We are pleased to announce our first significant customer for our datacentre facilities. The thorough diligence process that we had to go through to secure this contract confirms the quality of our data centre portfolio and our managed hosting capability," said Angus MacSween, CEO for iomart. |
