Jamcracker, the on-demand services delivery company, recently announced Jamcracker WebStores, a complete Software as a Service(SaaS) delivery solution that enables traditional channel service providers to add on-demand applications to their existing software, hardware and services portfolios. Jamcracker WebStores provide a front and back-end services delivery infrastructure, billing and settlement, as well as customer administration and support for SaaS products from trusted brands including Microsoft, WebEx, McAfee and many others.
Jamcracker's on-demand distribution and support services are currently used by many of the world's largest Telcos to deliver value-added services to their customers. WebStores now make this same distribution infrastructure, capabilities, and services available to Value Added Resellers (VARs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Web Hosting providers.
"While the traditional software delivery model is being supplemented by on-demand services, the need for a value-added delivery channel, especially in the small-medium business market, is not going away," said Steve Hilton, vice president of research firm Yankee Group. "Resellers, integrators and other providers, who have established trusted advisory relationships with their business customers, are in an ideal position to monetize the fundamental shift in how value is delivered to end-customers in the on-demand market."
