UK managed hosting provider DediPower has increased capacity and secured a second data center to cope with the growing demand for its managed services.
DediPower says that new 11,000 square feet Tier 3 data center is located in Reading, UK and will enable businesses the flexibility to expand in the future while protecting access to their information. The new facility offers around-the-clock security, N+1 redundancy and cooling systems with multiple gigabit fiber connectivity and delivers a solid platform for companies with data storage or business recovery compliance requirements, says the company.
"Over the last 12 months we have seen an explosion in demand for our services and have added a host of increasingly high profile clients including Capita, ITV, Sam Learning and Carphone Warehouse," says Gareth Cadwallader, non-executive chairman at DediPower. "The new facility will allow us to significantly expand our hosting capacity and the range of services we offer."
