NetDepot Rolls Out Intrusion Prevention.

NetDepot, a brand of Global Net Access, LLC. announces the implementation of Toplayer IPS. The company states that after a year of testing and code development it has implemented the Toplayer IPS solution. The company claims that the units are deployed in high availability failover pairs and as such can account for asymetric traffic flows.
According to Jeff Hinkle the President of GNAX – "We have been very impressed with Toplayer. They worked with us to develop code enhancements very specific to our data center and our business that take into account threats unique to the hosting and colo business. None of the other vendors we encountered were interested in taking this approach. We now have a strategic relationship between Netdepot / GNAX and Top Layer for ongoing threat analysis / code development and testing. This means our customers will always get access to the latest threat supression specific to their issues."
