Comodo Releases Version 3 Firewall.

Comodo, a provider of security solutions, had its CEO Melih Abdulhayoglu featured in an interview on ComputerAmerica on October 8, that covered a range of topics such as desktop security technology, growth initiatives and product milestones. In addition, the interview discussed Comodo's release of its upcoming version 3 firewall solution.
During the interview with Carey Holzman of Craig Crossman's ComputerAmerica, a syndicated computer show, Mr. Abdulhayoglu discussed how the company has been actively working to make the Internet more secure at no cost to consumers.
The highlights of the interview included the availability of Comodo Firewall Pro (new version 3.0) which elaborated on how people can just download it and play with the BETA version. Also the 3 main steps followed viz Prevention, Detection and Cure. It also threw some light on Comodo's new approach in firewall pro v3.0 – based on White List technology and how it protects against drive by download threats. Also why current approach from other vendors is flawed and how making it freely available increases the company's brand awareness and helps to build a trusted brand was talked about openly.
