SWsoft Offers Kaspersky with Plesk.
2007-07-17, HostMan.biz Combines reactive antivirus and spyware detection methods with proactive technologies to provide the most effective protection for hosted e-mail. SWsoft, a server virtualizaion and automation software provider, today announced it will offer Plesk Anti-Virus powered by Kaspersky for the Linux and Windows platforms, through an agreement with Kaspersky Lab. It combines reactive antivirus and spyware detection methods with proactive technologies to provide the most effective protection for hosted e-mail. The software is simple to install and set up, while offering advanced users a range of versatile settings for fine-tuning the program. SWsoft is currently offering the software as an add-on for Plesk 8.1 for Windows, which is also available for Linux users in Plesk 8.2.Prices are based on the number of mailboxes, from 100 to 10,000 mailboxes per license. "We are pleased to offer our Plesk customers an anti-virus option based on technology from Kaspersky Lab, one of the most trusted names in Internet security. This is another example how our OPEN FUSION initiative is helping the growing ecosystem of hosting providers and software vendors diversify their service offerings with open software applications to meet customer demands and take advantage of new opportunities, such as software-as-a-service", said Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft.
