Arsys Selects BladeLogic.
2007-06-27, HostMan.biz Automates all BladeLogic's datacenter management initiatives. BladeLogic, Inc., a provider of datacenter automation software, announced that Arsys, a domain name registration and web hosting services companies, has selected BladeLogic's suite of data center automation solutions to automate all of its data center management initiatives. Through the deployment of BladeLogic, Arsys is able to automate the server management lifecycle, including discovery, provisioning, configuration change management, compliance auditing and remediation, application release management and reporting. In addition, Arsys will automate key ITIL processes using BladeLogic Orchestration Manager, a software solution that provides process automation using workflow and data integration with other systems management software tools, claims the company. "In evaluating datacenter automation solutions, we conducted a deep and rigorous technical analysis using real-life data from our server environment. We selected BladeLogic because it was the only automation vendor able to complete all of our technical requirements, and in just five days," said Manuel Amutio, Chief Information Officer, Arsys. "Our technical team was extremely impressed with BladeLogic's technology, particularly in terms of the solution's level of granularity, flexibility and power. BladeLogic will allow us to manage our server and application environments more efficiently, remain in compliance with the ITIL standards we have implemented and integrate all of the software solutions in our datacenter without major process changes."
