Tucows Signs Contract with Q9 Networks.
2007-05-21, HostMan.biz Plans to take advantage of Q9's bandwidth to service its global network. Q9 Networks Inc., a canadian provider of outsourced datacenter infrastructure, yesterday announced that it has been awarded a infrastructure hosting contract by Tucows Inc., an ICANN accredited registrar. The company announces that it is co-locating its primary datacenter infrastructure at a Q9 facility and will take advantage of Q9's bandwidth to service its global network. Tucows has completed the migration of 155 servers to the Q9 facility. "We supply domain names and hosted email to thousands of service providers around the world so we need suppliers who are extremely reliable," says Judy Fields, Vice President of Operations, Tucows Inc. "After conducting an exhaustive review process, we selected Q9 based on its unique power and network models, strong track record and outstanding customer service. We believe Q9 will not only help us provide a higher level of service, but will also enable us to have better visibility into our infrastructure management."
