SWsoft Announces PEM Solution for Windows.

SWsoft, a server virtualization and automation software provider, today announced a new version of its PEM automation platform for native Windows environments, in response to growing demand from service providers and enterprises with Microsoft datacenters. PEM delivers a mechanized hosting platform that reduces operational costs by as much as five dollars a month per customer by allowing service providers to fully automate services. PEM achieves this by integrating a Web storefront, provisioning workflow, domain registration, payment gateways, service plan management, reseller functionality and customer control panels. For Windows, it enables businesses that operate in a 100 percent Microsoft environment to lower their total cost of ownership by offering an SWsoft automation solution without introducing a Linux server into their datacenter. The solution makes it easier for service providers to launch and manage Windows services, including Windows-based web hosting offers, Windows-based virtualization solutions, Hosted Microsoft Exchange and Hosted Windows SharePoint Services. The new version of PEM is built on top of Microsoft Windows Server platform technologies, including the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration, Active Directory, Internet Information Services, Microsoft Domain Name System and Microsoft SQL Server. Pricing is based on the number of services offered and the amount of customization required, and has not changed as a result of the new platform support.
