Melbourne IT Acquires IDR Management Services.

Melbourne IT has acquired 100 per cent of UK-based corporate domain management company IDR Management Services (IDR), a company that provides global registration and renewal services and global domain name portfolio consolidation.
Melbourne IT feels that by acquiring IDR it has enhanced its position in the UK, which will assist the company to deliver revenue growth in that market and beyond. The company noted that the IDR business fits Melbourne IT's Corporate Brand Services division, and the company is looking forward to incorporating the IDR staff to the global Melbourne IT team.
Together, the two companies hope to build upon IDR's success by overlaying Melbourne IT's product set, scale of operations and trusted domain management systems.
