CIHost Expands Its Data Center In Texas.
2006-12-04, HostMan.biz This is the ninth time the company has expanded its core facility in Bedford, Texas. There is room for one more phase expansion and then the facility will be fully utilized. Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host said that the company is already working on their second facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It will be online and operational within 12 months and will allow C I Host to continue expanding its facilities. C I Host is adding 600 new dedicated servers and more than 4,000 new shared hosting accounts a month, in addition to completing more than 50 colocation deals a month. With wholly-owned, state-of-the-art data centers in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Newark – and a planned opening in London – C I Host has grown and prospered its 9-year history, a time that saw exuberant peaks and challenging valleys in the high tech industry. Over the 18 months, C I Host has expanded many of its facilities, developed an anti-scam toolbar and other strategies to protect Internet users from Internet crime, and pioneered the use of web-based technology to expand the market for musicians and artists to sell their products and services and to help nonprofit organizations linked with the arts to raise funds to help those hurt by national disasters. Faulkner added that the lack of long-term debt and early creation of a robust, transparent reseller program and the decision from the get-go to run a customer-centered company as helped the company to get where it is today. |
