Hostlogic Launches SaaS Hosted IP Products.
2006-11-27, HostMan.biz Hostlogic Plc, a business SaaS hosting providers, today announced that it is creating the next milestone in the UK 'software as a service' (SaaS) market by launching a suite of five products aimed at the comms and IT reseller channels. Unity is designed to bridge the skills gap, so that non-technical resellers and data VARs can sell and maintain SaaS applications including Microsoft Hosted Exchange, Windows Mobile Data Services, Microsoft Sharepoint Hosting and Microsoft Live Communication Server with shared and dedicated Windows hosting services. Unity allows products and applications to be plugged in. The platform gives flexibility to the reseller and integrates into a reseller's existing system using API. Unity allows sales organisations to add new hosted software applications to their product portfolios. For the reseller, the benefits include increased customer loyalty and margins of up to 40%, claims the company. Mark Seemann, CEO of Hostlogic Plc, says, "Hosted software services will change the industry worldwide - not only from a cost and delivery point of view but also from new enhanced functionality that will save businesses large amounts of money." He adds, "Hostlogic's knowledge of the comms and IT channels means our services are already attracting large amounts of interest as telco resellers see these new products arriving in the nick of time, just as their telecoms margins are getting squeezed." |
