Data393 Signed Agreement with Bonfils Blood Center.

This agreement allows Bonfils to leverage the consistently available infrastructure that they require as they communicate with their nine community donor facilities and more than 200 healthcare facilities in Colorado and beyond. "We needed to expand our bandwidth to the Internet and to colocate key servers as part of our disaster recovery plan," said Mark Thompson, Bonfils chief information officer and senior vice president. "Data393 has allowed us to do both with a single, integrated, cost-effective solution." Data393's Metro Area Ethernet service allows companies such as Bonfils to take advantage of dedicated Internet access with speeds up to 100 megabits per second without the expense associated with traditional dedicated telco circuits. At the same time, Data393's SAS70 Type II facility delivers Bonfils a secure, reliable location to house its disaster recovery equipment.
