Macquarie Hosting launches Dedicated Managed Virtualisation.
2006-09-19, HostMan.biz Macquarie Hosting released its Dedicated Managed Virtualization hosting solution. The solution is the first one to locally meet the stringent security, availability and redundancy demands of high-transactional online businesses, and medium to large corporate and government organizations in Australia. Macquarie Hosting will deliver the solution from its purpose-built data centre, the Intellicentre. The solution will also use VMware software to deliver customers additional capacity and scalability on demand. “We have customers that need scalability on demand. That means within hours, not the days that have previously been required for more complex hardware or service set up,” Greg Thomson, Group Executive of Hosting and Security, said in a company press release. |
