AT&T Announces Hosting Agreement with AcXess.
2006-09-14, HostMan.biz AT&T Inc. today announced a new contract with AcXess, Inc. in which AT&T will provide enterprise data-center services. The physical hosting environment is designed to eliminate single points of failure with multiple fiber entrances, multiple backup power feeds and uninterruptible power supply. Using automated tools, such as Real Time Network Routing (RTNR) and FASTAR (fast automatic restoration), AT&T's disaster-recovery experts can route communications traffic around an affected area. This solution not only provides AcXess with increased network reliability and security but also aligns with AT&T's customer-focused convergence strategy, enabling AcXess to seamlessly upgrade or integrate future communications services. |
