VeriCenter Makes Inc. 500 List.
2006-08-29, HostMan.biz VeriCenter, Inc. announced today that it has been honored as a 2006 Inc. 500 fastest-growing private company for the second year in a row, marking the distinction as a first for a managed services and infrastructure outsourcing company. As a leader in the industry, VeriCenter ranked No. 234 with a three-year growth rate of 544 percent. “VeriCenter employees have made a concerted effort over the past year to fuel the company’s monumental growth with dedication and focus. The fact that we were honored two years in a row clearly distinguishes VeriCenter’s vision within the managed services and infrastructure outsourcing industry.” VeriCenter acquired and successfully integrated Sprint Corporation’s enterprise managed hosting business, Sprint E|Solutions, in 2004, a move that coincided with the company’s consistent internal growth that led to the quadrupling of its customer base and number of employees. With a three-year growth rate of 626 percent, VeriCenter was honored to be recognized as an Inc. 500 company in 2005. The company has added more than 133 new companies to its diverse client list through the first half of 2006. Additionally, in May of 2006, Houston Business Journal named VeriCenter as one of the fastest growing small businesses in the greater Houston metropolitan area for the third consecutive year. The company has experienced 24 consecutive quarters of sequential sales growth. The company’s distributed, high-availability data center network gives companies the ability to scale their enterprises through selective sourcing of IT infrastructure and managed services. As companies refocus resources on critical business issues, VeriCenter eases their technology concerns by providing secure enterprise hosting and on-demand IT services. The hosting market is expected to grow from $6 billion to $20 billion in the next four years, according to Gartner Research. The 2006 Inc. 500, as revealed in the September issue of Inc., reported the most sizeable group of companies the magazine has ever compiled, with aggregate revenue of $19.7 billion, up from $16.5 billion last year and $12.9 billion in 2000.
