Hosting.com Improves Security.

Web hosting provider Hosting.com announced it added additional security measures to its network to mitigate increased risk of cyber attacks. The company has made an agreement with Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS), an enterprise security provider, to provide proactive protection and “block hundreds of thousands of internet viruses”.
"During these times of heightened security risks to the U.S., public and private companies across the country are facing increasing pressure to upgrade their network security. Working with the pioneering and most well-respected internet security company, ISS, we are taking the extra step in protecting our customers’ web assets against vulnerabilities such as cyber viruses, proprietary information theft and denial of service attacks, among others.", said Darren King, President and CEO of Hosting.com.
Hosting.com has provided an “additional layer” of security as a response to what it perceives as increased risk and some recent high profile incidents.
