ArielHost Launches Windows Web Hosting Plans.

ArielHost has announced the launch of Windows web hosting with merchant services alongside its existing FreeBSD-based packages. The move allows ArielHost to provide enhanced services to developers and merchants running specialized applications that require Windows Server 2003. The new plans are hosted on 2.4 GHz Dual Xeon-powered servers with 2 GB of RAM, 200MB of disk space and 1GB traffic alongside unlimited emails, sub-domains, mySQL databases, and FTP accounts.
"While we are still fully committed to providing FreeBSD based hosting, we recognize that many clients are seeking Microsoft technologies such as .NET and Microsoft SQL Server to power their online presence," explained Mr. Ariel Benzakein, ArielHost Chief Operating Officer.
ArielHost will offer merchant services to Windows hosting customers. These include Voice over Internet Protocol telephony, ScanAlert's PCI Compliance scanning and merchant accounts through Applied Merchant Systems. “It’s clear that even with the introduction of Windows hosting, we are completely focused on offering an enriched, merchant-centric web hosting environment for our customers,” said Mr. Benzakein.
