ColoSpace opens its fifth data center .
2006-01-24, HostMan.biz ColoSpace, Inc., a provider of colocation and managed services, yesterday announced the grand opening of its fifth New England Data Center located in Rockland, Mass. The company claims the data center will offer the following features- n+1 engineering, UPS power with backup generator support, fire suppression and security systems, customized cage, six tier-1 bandwidth connectivity providers, managed services and disaster recovery services. The Rockland facility will serve clients south of Boston as well as DR clients within Boston proper and managed hosting customers throughout the country. "Two years ago we began our survey process to determine if a need existed in this part of the state," commented Wayne Sawchuk, CEO, ColoSpace. "The data was astounding especially for organizations that dreaded driving to Boston and wanted a local alternative for their business. As a result we had companies waiting to move in day one." |
