EMC Buys Private Services Firm Internosis.
2006-01-09, HostMan.biz EMC Corp., a provider of storage systems, said Monday it acquired information technology services firm Internosis Inc. to extend the company's services capabilities. Financial terms weren't disclosed, and the acquisition is not expected to have a material effect on 2006 earnings. Privately held Internosis is based in Greenbelt, Md., and employs about 250 service professionals. The firm specializes in IT strategy, application development, IT infrastructure and managed services for Microsoft environments. EMC said the acquisition will help accelerate customer adoption of information lifecycle management products and improve the company's ability to provide serve Microsoft-based environments. |
