New Search Engine Navisso.com Launches Beta Test.
2006-01-03, HostMan.biz Navisso, a free search engine with the goal of becoming one of the most relevant and dependable search engines on the web, launches Navisso Search Beta. Navisso's mission is employing a search engine that provides accurate, real, and relevant search results to its visitors. Navisso Search invites the general public to test its newly launched product Navisso.com. Unlike other popular search engines, Navisso Search is a web search engine that does not rely on external search feeds. Navisso Search utilizes automated crawling technology to identify web sites for inclusion in the search index. NavissoBot, the search engine's indexing robot, crawls the web frequently on a regular basis in order to locate new web pages as well as identify changes that have been recently made to existing pages. The crawling process is fully automated and maintained from more than 10 different locations worldwide. Natalie Wrens, Public Relations, says, "We are committed to building a reliable, searchable index while reducing spam and other undesirable pages within our results. Our focus is indexing quality web sites instead of going for a large index of spam and doorway pages." Wrens firmly added that, "Navisso will never push official web sites or keyword domain names to the top unlike other search engines. We believe relevancy is more important than boosting official web sites or keyword domains. "An example would be an official web site versus a content-rich information site including latest news, product information, forums or how-to's. Content-rich sites simply contain the better information than official (default) web sites." Navisso's creators and "think tank" consist of Internet professionals, who collectively have total combined experience of more than 50 man-years in the Internet industry. |
