LoadSpring Launches Second Data Center.
2005-12-22, HostMan.biz LoadSpring Solutions, a leading provider of application management and hosting systems for remote connectivity, today announced the addition of a second data center in Boston, Massachusetts to provide real-time redundancy for its customers' highly sensitive business-critical data. LoadSpring's new data center, contracted through VeriCenter, will give customers the resources needed to recover from a disaster within one business day and virtually with no loss of data. LoadSpring launched its second data center with an existing customer who had been utilizing the company's CAM Console services from LoadSpring's primary data facility in southern Massachusetts. The CAM Console allows local or dispersed project teams to use existing enterprise applications and share project data in real-time. This particular customer needed 99% uptime for its Microsoft SharePoint Services and related applications with the ability to recover from a disaster within one business day without loss of data. LoadSpring was able to procure, configure and deploy the necessary infrastructure components for the new facility to create a virtual replica of the existing infrastructure, which included multiple layers of redundant firewall technology, networking equipment and servers to deliver the new hosted services. "The addition of our second data center is in direct response to our customers' need of ensuring the uptime of their business-critical information, which they utilize on a day-to-day basis to keep their operations successful," said Eric Leighton, president & CEO, LoadSpring Solutions. "Opening this data center enables us to segregate resources more efficiently while providing a second platform for the CAM Console and customers needing real-time failover in the event of a disaster." Through the infrastructure of LoadSpring's new facility, customers can expect that their business-critical data will be protected through the Class A facility's security and redundancy capabilities, including 24 x 7 x 365 on-site security personnel with video surveillance, state-of-the-art power protection and infrastructure, multiple diesel generators, fire suppression and sophisticated environmental controls. |
