Digital River Manages Global Online Store for ParetoLogic.
2005-12-21, HostMan.biz Digital River, Inc., a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced that it is providing international e-commerce support for ParetoLogic Inc., a developer of anti-spyware software and other security software products. Based on an agreement, Digital River is managing the online sale of ParetoLogic's XoftSpy software purchased at www.paretologic.com. In addition, Digital River is promoting XoftSpy through its established online network of software affiliates. Digital River is managing ParetoLogic's affiliate program as part of its oneNetwork(TM) online sales channel. "We have developed the best practices to efficiently run successful online stores and e-commerce operations," said Dave Alampi, Digital River's vice president of marketing. "By combining both direct and indirect sales channels as well as building localized international online stores, we can help our clients exercise a strategic online sales plan to help them sell more products to both domestic and global consumers." In addition to hosting ParetoLogic's online store, Digital River is providing downloads of the company's software as well as fraud screening services. To support ParetoLogic's global e-commerce strategy, Digital River designed the site to display in regionally-preferred languages and currencies, and process orders using locally-preferred payment methods. The Digital River oneNetwork Affiliate Program allows software vendors, like ParetoLogic, the capability to recruit, sign up and support new and existing affiliates that are dedicated to the online marketing and sales of their products. Affiliates can earn attractive commissions by driving sales for XoftSpy through the ParetoLogic online store. "We decided to outsource our e-commerce operations to Digital River for multiple reasons," said Elton Pereira, CFO of ParetoLogic.
