BEA Systems Expands Management Team.
2005-12-12, HostMan.biz Enterprise infrastructure software provider BEA Systems (bea.com) announced on Friday that it had expanded its executive management team. Steve Au-Yeung was named senior vice president of Asia-Pacific sales and operations, while Hyoung-Lae Kim and Philip Richardson were appointed regional vice president for Korea and regional vice president for Ireland, the UK and South Africa, respectively. Au-Yeung, who replaces outgoing senior vice president of APAC Garrett Ilg, most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Software Global Business Unit for APAC at Hewlett-Packard. Kim also joins BEA from HP and Richardson joins the company from Entrust. "BEA is excited to attract high caliber talent with proven track records of results and leadership," says Alfred Chuang, chairman and chief executive officer of BEA Systems. "We continue to help customers evolve their existing enterprise software applications from inflexible, redundant, legacy architectures to highly responsive, mature service-oriented infrastructures." |
