Web Host GMO Introduces Shared Lines.
2005-12-09, HostMan.biz Japanese Web hosting provider GMO Hosting & Security (gmo-hs.com) announced earlier this week that it had launched WINISH, a new Windows-based shared hosting service. The service will be marketed under the iSLE (home.isle.ne.jp) brand. "By entering the market for shared hosting on the Windows Server platform, GMO-HS, which has extensive server hosting experience under the iSLE and other brands, will substantially stimulate the hosting market overall," the company said in a statement. GMO's California-based subsidiary Webkeepers (en.webk.net) also unveiled a new shared Web hosting service this week. The offering is based on the Plesk control panel and is available in English, Spanish and Japanese. WebKeepr sis offering three different plans, priced at $4.95, $9.95 and $14.95 per month. GMO hosts over 130,000 sites on the Unix platform across several different brands. |
