Texas Medical Center Picks CyrusOne.
2005-11-30, HostMan.biz Managed hosting and colocation provider CyrusOne (cyrusone.com) announced on Wednesday that it would offer IT services to Texas Media Center member institutions. The services include colocation, disaster recovery, business continuity, storage, backup and remote system and network management. TMC member institutions will be able to access the services by connecting to CyrusOne's data center facilities through its dark fiber link. CyrusOne says TMC members will benefit from improved IT performance, implementation of new healthcare technologies, operational economics and risk management capabilities. "Technology plays an important role in the delivery of quality patient care, as well as in regulatory compliance and cost containment and we realize that our members need more than just technology," says Andy Icken, executive vice president of Texas Medical Center. |
