Web Host 2bithost Cuts Prices.
2005-11-23, HostMan.biz Web hosting provider 2bithost.com (2bithost.com) announced on Tuesday that, in an effort to increase its customer base, it has reduced the prices of all its shared hosting and reseller plans by 50 percent until November 30, waiving all setup fees. This move, together with 2bithost.com's aggressive advertising efforts, is designed to help develop its customer base as quickly as possible. "We have entered a very aggressive industry that is driven largely by price, but also driven by referrals from other satisfied customers," says Rob Moore, CEO of 2bithost.com. "Until we have a large enough customer base that can spread the word about our highly reliable, quality hosting services and our commitment to customer support, we have to compete with the lower-priced alternatives." 2bithost.com offers several shared hosting options. The introductory base plan is now priced at $4.95 per month, and includes 1,000MB of storage space and 20GB of bandwidth. The higher end plan is priced at $39.95 per month, and includes 25GB of space and 250GB of bandwidth. 2bithost.com also offers several reseller plans for those companies who need to host several Web sites, or for small Web hosting providers. The smallest reseller plans is priced at $13.95 per month, and customers have the option of upgrading to a dedicated server when necessary. All reseller plans include private name servers, and the ability to setup new hosting accounts in real time. |
