Web Host SiteGround Rewards Customers.
2005-11-23, HostMan.biz Web hosting provider SiteGround.com (siteground.com) announced on Tuesday it has signed up its 10,000th customer. In celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, SiteGround will give its clients gift certificates totaling more than $1 million. Each customer will receive five vouchers, each worth $20. Each client can either spend the vouchers, or pass them along to friends and family as Thanksgiving gifts. "We wanted to do something meaningful," says Annie Tailor, account manager at SiteGround.com. "Our promotion does not target new customers, only the existing ones. Thus, we want to show them that we really care for having them and they are the primary focus of our efforts because we want to build strong relationships with them." The idea for the promotion originated from past SiteGround statistics, which revealed that more than half of its customers are referred by existing customers. |
