OpSource to Host SAAS Summit.
2005-11-08, HostMan.biz Software-as-a-service technology developer OpSource (opsource.com) announced this week that it is planning its first-ever SAAS Summit, to be held from March 2 to 3, 2006 in Napa, California. The company says the event will enable SAAS enablers, independent software vendors and industry experts to engage in an interactive exchange of ideas and information. Designed to bring together members of the SAAS community and foster opportunities for partnering, the SAAS Summit will feature presentations by industry experts, panel discussions, and breakout sessions organized into two tracks ? SAAS enablement and SAAS acceleration. "There is growing momentum for the SaaS model throughout the industry," says Treb Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of OpSource. "Industry analysts are hailing SaaS as the wave of the future and ISVs are increasingly adopting this model for software delivery-and for good reason.
