Netcraft's survey measures Web server software use on all Internet connected computers. According to Netcraft, the small increase can be attributed to France's enom allowing 810,000 .info names hosted on Windows Server 2003 to expire. In September 2004, an enom affiliate registered one million .info domains in a week and offered them to customers owning similar names in .com.
