TeleCity Acquires Redbus Interhouse . 2005-11-02, HostMan.biz European data center operator TeleCity (telecity.com) said on Wednesday that it had reached an agreement to acquire Redbus Interhouse (interhouse.net). TeleCity says the deal will make the newly-merged group Europe's largest data center operator in terms of turnover, number of customers and total data center space under management. TeleCity's management team will consist of Michael Tobin, chief executive officer of Redbus Interhouse, Carl Fry, finance director for Redbus Interhouse, Trevor Wadcock, operations director of TeleCity and Matthew Gingell, marketing director at TeleCity. Current Telecity CEO Rick Hudson and finance director Josh Joshi will be stepping down as a result of the transaction. TeleCity says it will begin developing an integration plan for the two companies in the coming weeks. Trevor Wadcock will oversee the integration process. The deal is expected to close in December with the three largest shareholders in Redbus Interhouse exchanging their majority stakes for a one-third stake in the new TeleCity Group. TeleCity's owners will remain in possession of the remaining two-thirds interest.
