Hushmail Resells Comodo SSL Certs.
2005-10-25, HostMan.biz Identity management and security solution provider Comodo (comodogroup.com) announced on Tuesday that it would provide managed email provider Hushmail (hushmail.com) with SSL certificates. Hushmail will resell the certificates under its own brand while Comodo operates the back end issuance and validation infrastructure. James Langman, vice president of business development for Comodo, says Hushmail can streamline its operations through the partnership. Being able to provide the secure PKI infrastructure within the partnership program was a key selling point for Hushmail, Comodo says. "By partnering with Comodo we were able to easily add the Comodo SSL certificate product range to our service portfolio," says Ben Cutler, CEO of Hush Communications. "Our customers will benefit by being able to fulfill a wider selection of their online security requirements from one vendor, achieving greater savings in the process." |
