FalconStor Launches Storage Service.
2005-10-20, HostMan.biz Network storage software developer FalconStor (falconstor.com) announced on Wednesday that it had launched PrimeVault, a disaster recovery, data archiving and colocation service. The service enables customers to replicate their data to the PrimeVault site, making disaster recovery affordable for organizations of all sizes, the company says. Each customer is given access to FalconStor DiskSafe or FileSafe software so that they can backup their data to an appliance pre-loaded with FalconStor iSCSI storage software. The appliance then remotely replicates the data to the PrimeVault location. Recovery of data can be conducted 24 hours a day. "FalconStor is stepping up and taking on the responsibility to assist companies with their data protection needs," says Joe Goldberg adds, co-director of FalconStor. The New York-based company is offering reseller partnerships. |
