Web Host Peer 1 Adds Board Member.

Colocation and dedicated hosting provider Peer 1 Network (peer1.net) announced last Friday that it had named Mark Benham of private equity firm Celerity Partners to its board of directors.
Benham co-founded Celerity, an investor in Peer 1, in 1995. Prior to that, he was a senior investment officer for Citicorp Venture Capital.
"We are delighted to gain the knowledge, contacts and insight that Mark will provide to the board of Peer 1," says Geoff Hampson, president and CEO of Peer 1 Network. "Having Celerity as an investor and Mark on the board reinforces Peer 1's evolution into a leading player in the North American Internet infrastructure outsourcing market and the company's access to outside institutional capital that will facilitate our continued growth."
