SitePak Asks Web Hosts to Switch Tools.
2005-10-11, HostMan.biz Web hosting automation software developer SitePak (sitepak.com) announced last week that it would compensate service providers for the automation software they have already purchased if they switch over to its flagship solution OHC. The company says it made the offer to give service providers a way to get out from existing automation software purchases. Companies are often reluctant to do so, even if they want to, because of the sunk costs. "We believe that our software is the platform required to integrate all Hosted or IP Services. Aside from being totally customizable, OHC will significantly reduce maintenance expenses and return control to the providers' data centers, where it belongs," says Eileen Goldfarb, CEO of Sitepak. "By offering to credit their previous software purchase, we will be able to remove that barrier for many providers and let them advance to the next level of hosted services." According to SitePack, OHC offers a high degree of flexibility for in-house developed scripts and is capable of integrating ASP services. |
