Novell Appoints EMEA President.
2005-10-07, HostMan.biz Open source software developer Novell (novell.com) announced on Friday that it has named Thomas Francese as president of its Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. Francese will report to Ron Hovsepian, executive vice president and president of Worldwide Field Operations. Francese will also hold a seat on Novell's worldwide management committee. Francese joins Novell from IBM where he was most recently vice president of its software group for EMEA. He has held positions in sales, sales management and operations over his 30-year career. "Tom's vast experience in sales, general management and operations, as well as his years of experience leading teams in Europe, will provide Novell with strong leadership in the region," says Hovsepian. "I am thrilled to have someone of Tom's caliber join the Novell leadership team." |
