TransAtlantic Picks Terremark Hosting.

Data center operator Terremark (terremark.com) announced on Tuesday that TransAtlantic Bank has chosen colocation services through Terremark's NAP of the Americas facility. The companies have signed a multi-year deal.
Terremark will provide TransAtlantic with its SecuredVirtual Banking Suite, which offers the banking and financial industry services tailored to meet their needs. The company will also implement a business continuity plan for TransAtlantic in accordance with Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council Guidelines.
"TransAtlantic is a perfect example of how banking and financial institutions are accepting our SecuredVirtual Banking Suite services and entrusting us with their mission-critical infrastructure," says Manuel D. Medina, chairman and CEO of Terremark Worldwide. "We anticipate other banking and financial institutions will take advantage of the NAP's state-of-the-art connectivity, security and redundancy necessary to manage their data center."
