Timico Picks Web Host TeleCity for VoIP.

European data center operator and managed services provider TeleCity (telecity.com) announced on Tuesday that it had added UK-based Internet service provider Timico (timico.co.uk) as a new customer.
According to the agreement, TeleCity will house Timico's new hosted voice over IP service out of its Harbour Exchange facility in London. Timico chose to outsource its data center requirements to TeleCity because of the robustness and scalability of its facilities. Timico anticipates significant growth for its Internet telephony offering.
"The high quality design and build of TeleCity's data center suite in the Docklands was a critical factor in our decision to select them as our outsourcing partner," says Julian Rose, technical director of Timico. "We know they can deliver on power, resilience and connectivity, which is imperative to the success of Internet telephony. We will be able to continue growing our business knowing that our infrastructure is in the best possible location with built-in scalability and round-the-clock engineering support."
