Web Host Telehouse Adds Managed Service.

Data center and colocation provider TELEHOUSE America (telehouse.com) announced late last week that it had introduced new managed services capabilities.
The new services include server management services for database management, administration, clustering design and implementation and solutions targeting enterprise applications, such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL server. Customers will also be able to monitor network and server status 24 hours a day, and get information on their traffic, port status, CPU, available memory, hard disk drive utilization and installed patches to their operating system. TELEHOUSE will notify customers of immediate problems.
"Our new managed services provide clients with highly sought-after database management solutions and more extensive on and off-site monitoring of daily network and enterprise resources activity," says Akio Sugeno, director of Internet engineering at TELEHOUSE. "The use of managed services also enables IT departments to cope with tighter financial guidelines by concentrating greater resources elsewhere."
