MonsterHosting Launching VoIP Service.
2005-09-23, HostMan.biz Canadian Web hosting and e-commerce solutions provider MonsterHosting.ca (monsterhosting.ca) announced on Friday it will launch a voice over Internet protocol service on October 3, 2005, making it the first Canadian Web host to do so. The company's VoIP subsidiary, MonsterVoIP (monstervoip.ca), will target the US and Canadian telephone service market. MonsterVoIP will also offer a white label reseller model for Web hosts that want to start their own local VoIP business. "VoIP offers nearly the same voice quality of traditional landline telephones, but has twice as many features," says Rainer Schmoll, CEO of MonsterVoIP. "It's only natural that there is a growing demand in the market for this great technology." Surrey, British Columbia-based MonsterHosting.ca provides Web development solutions for over 2,000 clients, has been in the hosting market since January 2003. It offers various Web development services, including domain name registration, email hosting, Web hosting, merchant accounts, reseller backup software and targeted Web traffic. |
