FBS Picks Coyote Point Acceleration .

Coyote Point Systems (coyotepoint.com) announced on Thursday that its Equalizer Series Web application acceleration systems had been deployed by FBS Data Systems, a provider of software for the real estate industry.
Coyote Point Systems says FBS's recent high rankings in customer satisfaction surveys can be attributed to its technology, which provide adaptive server load balancing for FBS's application environment. FBS's infrastructure has two deployments of Coyote Point Equalizer systems and 26 Intel Pentium servers running the Apache Web server and Red Hat Linux operating system. The site handles 10,000,000 hits per day on a regular basis.
"We evaluated other systems and chose Coyote Point because it offers very sophisticated load balancing while also being easy to manage," said Jaison Freed, system administrator for FBS Data Systems. "Coyote Point's Equalizer system is purpose-built for server load balancing, which is exactly what we wanted, is easy to manage and offers the SSL acceleration that we're implementing.
