The company also announced it has named Steve Walske as chairman of the board. BladeLogic's Series D investment was led by MK Capital, as well as additional existing investors Battery Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Globespan Capital Partners. To date, BladeLogic has raised a total of almost $29 million in four rounds of equity financing, while increasing the company's valuation on average by 130 percent with each successive round.
