Go Daddy Top Shared Host, Netcraft Says.

Web hosting provider and domain registrar Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on Friday that based on data by research and analysis firm Netcraft (netcraft.com), it is now the largest shared hosting provider in North America based on the total number of Web sites hosted.

Go Daddy has expanded rapidly since entering the Web hosting market in late 2000. The company moved into the dedicated and virtual dedicated Web hosting space in March.
