Tucows Completes Public Offering.
2005-08-19, HostMan.biz Internet services and downloadable software provider Tucows (tucows.com) announced on Friday that it has completed the public offering of 22,225,000 shares of common stock at $0.90 US per share. Out of the 22,225,000 shares, the company sold 401,173 shares while certain existing shareholders of Tucows sold 21,823,827 shares. Tucows did not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares offered by the existing shareholders. The offering was underwritten by a syndicate led by Desjardins Securities, which included BMO Nesbitt Burns, CIBC World Markets and Clarus Securities. Tucows has given the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,889,250 shares of common stock to cover over any possible allotments at US $0.90 per share. The shares of Tucows common stock will start trading today on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "TC" and trade on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol "TCX." |
