Internap Names CTO and Engineering VP.
2005-08-16, HostMan.biz Performance-based routing solutions provider Internap Network Services Corporation (internap.com) announced on Tuesday that it had appointed Eric Klinker as chief technology officer and vice president of engineering. He will lead the expansion of the Internap portfolio and drive the strategic direction for product planning, architecture and network operations. Before joining Internap in 2002, Klinker was the chief technology officer and chief architect for route-control and bandwidth management products provider netVmg, which was acquired by Internap. Prior to netVmg, Klinker worked with Excite@Home where he focused on product development of cable and IP network management systems. "As he is one of the few industry experts in application delivery networks, Eric's record of innovation, combined with his advanced route management knowledge will be invaluable to evolving Internap's delivery and optimization of IP-based applications," says Gregory A. Peters, president and CEO of Internap. |
