DigiCert Passes SSL Provider Standard.

SSL certificate provider DigiCert's (digicert.com) CEO Ken Bretschneider said on Wednesday that the company has met the WebTrust standards for SSL certificate authorities set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The AICPA developed WebTrust criteria as set of standards for SSL certificate authorities like DigiCert. CPA firms must be licensed by the AICPA to evaluate certification authorities. DigiCert was given the WebTrust Seal of Assurance after being audited by KPMG International.
