SAVVIS Hosting Linedata Application.
2005-08-10, HostMan.biz Web hosting and managed services provider SAVVIS (savvis.com) said on Monday that Linedata Services will deploy its financial service solutions as an application service provider with the help of SAVVIS hosting and network services. "Linedata is the first major buy-side order management system vendor to make its product available in a true ASP fashion," says Matt Fox, vice president and general manager of SAVVIS's financial services division. "We are pleased to be a part of this exciting initiative by providing Linedata and their clients with a complete hosting, data center and network solution." SAVVIS will implement a managed hosting and network services solution for the LongView Trading and Linedata Compliance applications, connecting its IP network with its hosting facilities in Boston and Chicago. SAVVIS will also provide network management and monitoring services and disaster recovery. The agreement is set for three years. "LongView Trading is the industry's first high performance and best of breed order management system delivered in a pure ASP model," says Annie Morris, senior vice president of Linedata Services.
