Terremark Completes SAS 70 Audit.

Internet exchange operator Terremark Worldwide (terremark.com) announced on Wednesday that it had successfully completed the Statement Auditing Standard No.70 Type II examination for its flagship facility NAP of the Americas. SAS 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The examination, conducted by independent auditor SAS70 Solutions, assessed the suitability of NAP of the America's controls and procedures for the period January 1, 2005 through July 15, 2005. According to Terremark, it met and exceeded the review controls, which covered the facility's internal control environment, logical security, physical security, environmental security, data communications and customer privacy practices.
