Go Daddy Adds Web Hosting Plan.
2005-08-03, HostMan.biz Domain name registrar GoDaddy.com (godaddy.com) announced on Tuesday that it has added the "Economy Plan for Windows" to its line of hosting plans. The low-priced Windows hosting plan is available for $3.95 per month. Go Daddy's Economy Plan for Windows hosting includes 500MB of disk space, 25GB of monthly bandwidth, 100 email accounts equipped with spam, fraud and virus protection and 10MB of storage, 50 email forwarding accounts and database support. Customers who sign up for 12 months of the service receive a discount of 20 percent per month. Go Daddy says all its hosting plans are supported by data centers featuring multiple connections, a fast Ethernet backbone and redundant upstream providers. "We developed and introduced a low-priced Windows hosting plan because our customers asked for it," says Bob Parsons, president and founder of Go Daddy. "Like all the hosting packages we have introduced over the years, the response has been tremendous." |
